Family Home Care

Family Home Care is a block grant funded non-skilled, non-technical service provide to eligible aged or disabled adults who are functionally limited in performing daily activities.

Our Personal Care Attendants are trained to perform the following duties:

• Changing bed linens
• Light Housecleaning
• Dressing and Laundry
• Shopping and Escort Assistance
• Meal Preparation, Feeding and Dish Washing
• Exercising
• Assist with Self-Administered Medication
• Toileting
• Transferring/Ambulation
• Routine Hair and Skin Care

Qualifications

• Receive Medicaid or meet the following requirements:
• Individual: Monthly Income of $1500/month; Resources $5000/month
• Couple: Monthly Income of $2000/month; Resources $6000/month
• No doctor's order required
• Have a functional disability
• No task requirement
• Need assistance with activities of daily living
